From the very first email to the final hug goodnight, Kristen and Chris felt like the kind of couple every filmmaker hopes to cross paths with — warm, joyful, totally in love, and genuinely excited to create something meaningful together. Their wedding day at City Winery Hudson Valley was nothing short of magic. And having filmed at this venue countless times since our very first shoot here back in 2021, Dulcigno Wedding Films felt right at home capturing every beautiful moment.
This place truly never gets old. Every corner of the property glows differently with each couple’s story, and Kristen + Chris painted it with romance, laughter, and a whole lot of heart.
Getting Ready at The Barn — City Winery Hudson Valley
The day began at City Winery Hudson Valley’s Barn, where the soft morning light and rustic textures created the most peaceful setting for getting ready. Kristen slipped into her gown surrounded by excitement and happy tears.
One of the most emotional moments of the morning was Kristen’s first look with her dad inside The Barn. The way he held back tears (and then completely gave up trying) was unforgettable — a quiet moment of love before the celebrations officially began.
The Ceremony — Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church
Chris didn’t see Kristen until the ceremony, and when the doors of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church opened… oh man. His reaction said everything. Pure emotion. Awe. Love. You could feel the energy shift in the room.
A Catholic priest was also present during the ceremony, making the moment feel even more meaningful and layered with tradition.
The church glowed with soft tones that perfectly matched their Garden Chic theme — light olive, pastel sunset colors, gentle blues — a palette that felt romantic and airy.
And then came one of our favorite moments of the day:
the grand exit.
Kristen + Chris walked out hand in hand beneath cheers and smiles, stepping into their convertible cabriolet getaway car — an exit straight out of a movie.
Reception at City Winery Hudson Valley — Garden Chic Elegance
Returning to City Winery Hudson Valley for the reception felt like stepping into a dream. The team at City Winery always delivers, and the space was transformed beautifully — soft florals, warm textures, and a breathtaking flower chandelier floating above the dance floor. It fit the couple’s vision perfectly: romantic, joyful, playful.
Dulcigno Wedding Films has shot here so many times, but this transformation? Absolutely standout.
Working with the vendor team was seamless — everyone synced up naturally, sharing the same goal: make the day flawless.

The Dances — Classic, Modern, and Greek Traditions
Kristen + Chris opened the night with a classic-modern first dance, something simple, elegant, and full of connection. They moved like they were the only two in the room.
Later, the celebration kicked into high gear with a traditional Greek line dance, and let’s just say — the energy was electric. Guests linked arms, circled the dance floor, and filled the room with laughter and rhythm. It was one of those unforgettable moments where culture meets celebration in the best way.
