Frequently asked questions

Why super 8?

Super 8 film is enjoyable because it captures moments in a unique way. This type of film was often used by our grandparents to document their lives, from significant events to everyday occasions. Super 8 has a warm, nostalgic, and raw quality, and the scratches and light leaks only enhance its charm—it’s a beautiful way to preserve your memories in a timeless, tangible format.

How long are the final films?

Bite-sized. Your final film will be two to three minutes long and will include snippets from different parts of your day. Unlike some traditional wedding videos that feature quick cuts and slow motion, this film will present a real-time, chronological collection of memories that you’ll want to watch over and over again.

Can you record audio for ceremony and speeches?

Unfortunately, our Super 8 cameras do not have the capability to record audio. Our mission is to create a film that resembles a home movie—one that captures your day in a short, intimate, and impactful way. This is a film that you will want to watch and share with your friends and family for years to come.

How long does it take to receive our video?

Your video will be delivered within 3-4 weeks. We understand that you are eager to see your film, and we want you to see it as soon as possible! Thank you for your patience!

How do you deliver the films?

Initially, your video will be delivered online using YouTube or our Online Gallery. Raw footage can be requested upon request for an additional fee.

Can we have super 8 and hire a digital videographer?

We would prefer not to proceed with that. With our team handling videography, it could feel like “too many cooks in the kitchen,” and might be overwhelming for you as well.
